U.S. Art Exhibit Features Formerly Sponsored Child
Formerly sponsored child, Roberto Andrade of Sucre, Bolivia has inspired many with his profound artistic ability. His artwork is currently capturing interest at the Up Front Gallery in Lynchburg, Virginia where a collection of his pieces featuring angels, souls, spirituality, and sadness are being displayed on exhibit. The Up Front Gallery is part of the Academy of Fine Arts Program. Roberto, 22, has been creating art since he was a very small child, and his drawings have won him recognition in his home country of Bolivia as well as here in the United States. Children, Incorporated has been assisting Roberto from a young age through sponsorship, encouraging him to pursue his dreams. Having graduated from the sponsorship program, Roberto is now an architecture student, attending college in Bolivia on a scholarship from Children, Incorporated. The exhibit at the Up Front Gallery in Lynchburg is his first exhibit in the United States. It runs through July 25th.
